Frank is a passionate photographer and always creating new ways of looking at people and their stories. As a child he started making pictures of the people he loved. But over the years this evolved and he became more interested in telling stories about people, their lives or more social oriented issues. Based in Amersfoort (The Netherlands) he uses his environment as a stage. The stories he tells always have a personal element. He mostly works with friends as a model. He has the ability to come near and empathizes with the people he photographs. His style could be called expressionistic due to the choice for black and white.
